Welcome to Living Lens!
Living Lens is a collection of photographs and
stories in which I composed to my life's journey through the eye of a
camera.
The Living Lens website was
initially created for the ease of publishers and clientele to review my
work for photo and story submissions, but quickly became my passion for
many outlets as you will see.
Born and raised in the City of
Altoona, Pennsylvania, it was not until later in life that I more
appreciated the beauty of the location where I had been raised and now
live. Although able to conquer the sometimes rough terrain my friends and
I traveled to find the ultimate spot in the mountains of central
Pennsylvania as a young, adventurous teen, it was not until I had children
of my own who now follow their own paths in life, which inspired me to
revisit my passion for nature. My desire to overcome the gloom of what
winter can bring at times in the northeast, also gave cause for my new
found interest and a deeper sense of what makes life real.
With a camera in hand and
excitement to begin a new adventure, I wandered the mountains and
countryside of PA and farther to reconnect with the beauty that always was. Capturing
the stillness of nature, inspiring sunsets, beautiful sunrises, and
outdoor adventures… I began to walk down a new path in my journey of life.
