Initially
my position was to manage the office and assist the director of corporate

site. An opportunity in February, 2000
came about to manage a new corporate training site in Bedford.
The duties entailed setting up the new office and hiring staff. Handling all customer calls and scheduling
of training with the customers and trainers.
Some sales, public relations and advertising were also required and
basically ensuring that the office ran smoothly and efficiently.
I
had also taken an opportunity to temporarily fill in for an instructor on
leave, which entailed evening classes 3 days a week. I instructed a small class in the Office
Professional course, which included typing, English, office procedures and
basics in Corel WordPerfect.
